I just power on my system and get to work. No pausing/stopping syncs or exiting the app just to get things working. But with OneDrive, it just works and it works flawlessly. Too many sudden crashes with SIMPL and VT-Pro. I have used GoogleDrive and Dropbox and found the same issues that others are reporting. To: Re: Sync plans for teams: box vs dropbox vs sharepoint, etc. I also use TortiseSVN to sync to VisualSVN running on a local Windows server. I have noticed that most of the time, SIMPL and VT-Pro report errors saving prior to compile, and I have completely exit the Backup and sync program to get it to ‘release’ whatever file locks it’s holding on the Crestron files.
I’ve tried Googles new “Backup and Sync” version of Drive, and I haven’t noticed lost files… yet.
